What is Siteless?

Siteless is a lead generation tool that finds local businesses with no website. You choose a city and a business category, and Siteless returns the matching businesses from the Google Places API with their name, phone number, address and Google review count, labelled by whether they have no website, only a basic listing, or a real site.

It works in every country the Google Places API covers. It is used by freelance web designers, local marketing agencies and cold callers who sell websites and marketing services to small local businesses. The free plan includes 5 searches per month and 25 saved leads with no credit card.

Review count is the signal.

A business with 40 reviews and no website has demand and nowhere to send it. One with 3 reviews is usually a dead listing. Siteless shows you both, so you skip the graveyard.

How Siteless works

1

Search a city and category

Pick a country and city, then choose a business category such as plumbers, barbers or dentists.

2

See who has no website

Siteless queries the Google Places API and returns matching local businesses with name, phone, address and review count, each labelled by website status.

3

Work the list

Save the businesses with no website, generate a cold-call script for each one, and track them from not contacted to booked.

Why "no website" is the strongest cold-lead filter

No incumbent to displace

You are not competing with an existing site, an existing agency or a contract someone already signed.

The need is visible

A business with steady Google reviews and no website has demand and nowhere to send it, so the pitch writes itself.

The filter is objective

Website status comes straight from the Google Places listing, so you are not guessing who might be interested.

The pain is obvious, the pitch writes itself, and the close doesn't require dislodging an incumbent.

Common questions

What is Siteless?
Siteless is a lead generation tool that finds local businesses with no website. You pick a city and a business category, and Siteless returns the matching businesses with their name, phone number, address and Google review count, labelling which ones have no website, only a basic listing, or a real site.
How do you find businesses that don't have a website?
Every business listing returned by the Google Places API includes a website field, and Siteless reads that field for each result. Listings with no website URL are labelled "no website", and listings whose only URL is an auto-generated placeholder page are labelled "basic listing only". Businesses with a real website of their own are labelled and can be filtered out.
Where does the data come from?
All business data comes from the official Google Places API, queried live at search time. Each result includes the business name, address, phone number, Google rating and review count. Nothing is stored from third-party lists or resold databases.
Which countries does it work in?
Siteless works worldwide, in every country the Google Places API covers. You choose a country, search for a city inside it, and results come back with addresses formatted the local way and phone numbers in international format. It is used across the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, Europe, Latin America, the Middle East and Asia.
Who uses this?
Freelance web designers, local marketing agencies, cold callers and solo founders who sell websites or marketing services to small local businesses. They use Siteless to build a prospect list of businesses that visibly need a website, such as plumbers, roofers, dentists, salons and restaurants.
How much does it cost?
The free plan costs nothing and includes 5 lead searches per month, 25 saved leads and no credit card requirement. Paid plans are Starter at $12 per month, Growth at $29 per month and Pro at $79 per month, which raise the search and saved-lead limits and add CSV export.
Is this scraping?
No. Siteless queries the official Google Places API under Google's terms of service. No data is scraped from Google Maps pages or from third-party websites.
