FAQ
Siteless FAQ
What Siteless is, who it's for, and how searching local businesses by industry and location works.
What is Siteless?
Siteless is a lead generation and business prospecting tool for local business discovery. You search businesses by industry and location using the official Google Places API, and Siteless flags which of them have no real website.
What does Siteless do?
It finds local businesses by industry and city, returns each one's address, phone number, Google rating and review count, labels its website status (no website, basic listing only, or has a site), and helps you contact it with an AI cold-call script and an outreach pipeline.
Who is Siteless for?
Freelance web designers, local marketing agencies, cold callers, and solo founders who sell websites or marketing services to small local businesses.
Can I find businesses by industry?
Yes. You choose a business category — plumbers, roofers, HVAC contractors, electricians, dentists, salons, restaurants and many more — and results are limited to that category using Google's own business categories.
Can I find businesses by location?
Yes. Choose a country, then search for the city you want. Results are limited to that area, with addresses formatted the local way and phone numbers in international format.
How can Siteless help with lead generation?
It removes the two slowest steps: building a targeted list, and working out who actually needs your service. You get a qualified list of local businesses by industry and city, with the ones lacking a real website flagged, plus scripts and outreach tracking so the list gets worked.
How does a Siteless search work?
Pick a country and city, pick a business category, and Siteless queries the official Google Places API in real time. Matching businesses come back with contact details and a website-status label so you can go straight to outreach.
Where does the data come from?
The official Google Places API. That's why category matching actually works (searching "plumbers" returns plumbers, not hotels) and why the business info is accurate and current.
Is this scraping?
No. Siteless uses Google's official Places API under their terms of service. Nothing is scraped from Google Maps or third-party sites.
Does it work outside the US?
Yes — every country Google Maps covers. Users run searches across the US, UK, Canada, Australia and Latin America, among others, with locally formatted addresses and international phone numbers.
What's included in Starter?
200 searches per month, 250 saved leads, website scoring, call scripts, and CSV export. 3 days for $1, then $29/mo. Card required. Cancel anytime. Every search counts, including searches that return no results.
How much does a paid plan cost?
Starter is $29/month, Pro is $59/month, and Agency is $129/month. Compare plans and features on the pricing page.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Upgrade, downgrade, or cancel from your account settings whenever you want. No contracts.
Does Siteless give me email addresses or named contacts?
No. Siteless works from publicly listed business details — phone number and address — which is how local owner-operators are usually reached. It is not a corporate contact database.
How do freelancers actually close deals with these leads?
Most call or email the business and show a quick mockup of what their site could look like. Because these businesses have little or no online presence, a small site is an easy conversation to start.
Can I export my leads?
Yes. CSV export is included on every plan, including Starter, Pro, and Agency.
